Argument Blogs

As you know, this blog is done by two people. As you should also know, people have their disagreements. When two people disagree they will have an argument. So when Zack(I) and Oliver have an argument we will post what we call an argument blog where we will both state our opinions and you can decide who is right.

Double in One

Sometimes we will do more than one movie in one review in which case we will give you the rating for the movies separately and then as a whole. (If the rating is high on the whole we will not include it on our top ten). We call this a combined review

Star Wars IV: A New Hope (1978)

Reviewed by: Zack
Rating: 9.5
Star Wars is not only a timeless classic and the top of the movie legacy pyramid, but also began with George Lucas' powerful story of a farm boy, an old man, a sarcastic smuggler, a strong hearted princess, and the black masked entity of evil.
There is no other epic that can compare to that of Lucas' masterpiece. His movies changed the way our culture lived and breathed. A New Hope is only the beginning to this timeless Trilogy.
And one of the best beginnings I've ever seen. It is not only an enjoyable and a perfectly made movie, but also the most intuitive and genius film I've seen in ages. The history of the characters motives can only be revealed by watching the entire legacy, but after returning to view this picture I was amazed and blown away by the heartlessness of Vader and the Wise Obi-Wan's true thoughts.
Knowing this, the astounding portrayal of these characters weave the story together in a plot that jump-starts this epic adventure.
A New Hope is the defining movie of the century and cannot be described by mere words. If you have not seen this movie then you have been living under a rock in Antarctica and are missing out on the biggest adventure of your life.
