Argument Blogs

As you know, this blog is done by two people. As you should also know, people have their disagreements. When two people disagree they will have an argument. So when Zack(I) and Oliver have an argument we will post what we call an argument blog where we will both state our opinions and you can decide who is right.

Double in One

Sometimes we will do more than one movie in one review in which case we will give you the rating for the movies separately and then as a whole. (If the rating is high on the whole we will not include it on our top ten). We call this a combined review

The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

This is the best quality movie ever made and that will ever be made. No exceptions. I believe that no movie, not even Forrest Gump, can ever top this masterpiece.
The Shawshank Redemption is a movie with an amazing plot filled with all kinds of genres. The powerful story will not move you but rather throw you about in every way possible as it deals with huge topics that other movies have tried to tackle and failed. The story is not only awe inspiring but is portrayed with astounding acting and narrated by the best narrator of all time and forever, Morgan Freeman. If that's not enough, it's super believable, anything but predictable, and won't bore you. The characters are all developed and loved and the theme of the movie is so powerful that you can't go wrong.
This is hands-down the best movie ever made and needs no redeeming as it is beyond perfect. The Shawshank Redemption is the umbrella that all other films have to huddle under. It is without blemish, fault, or mistake and will always be remembered for its undying theme, "Fear can hold you prisoner, hope can set you free."
